Arches are first assembled on ground. Arches lifted into place.
 
While the three-arch pick method using a crane is an efficient construction method, many arch mod-els can also be hoisted single arch at a time or constructed sheet by sheet without heavy equipment.

Once all of the arches are picked and erected, the earth covering can begin.
 
Visquine or other membrane should be installed within the earth covering and slope to a drain-age system. Perforated pipe or other drainage needs to be designed and installed to take the wa-ter away from the building.
 

Adequate ventilation is required in all steel buildings and is important for earth covered construction.

Insulation, Interior Framing, HVAC, and other systems can be easily installed either free-standing or using the arch bolts.

Interior and Exterior finishes add to the home’s style.
Building ends can be steel, earth covered, or custom endwalls incorporating con-ventional building materials.
